The inner energy of man.

The question of energy is the most important issue. Everything directly depends on the level of internal energy: a person’s health, his success in society, and financial well-being.
To what extent these three sides will be balanced is a separate conversation.

Chinese medicine distinguishes between innate and acquired energy. Congenital energy is stored in the kidneys, and its level determines a person’s activity and longevity. It is used up in the process of life and is usually not restored.
Acquired energy is replenished by external sources of energy, such as food, air, Earth, Sun, etc.

The higher the level of internal energy, the more opportunities a person is able to discover in himself, the brighter and fuller his life, and the stronger his health.
To increase the internal energy, one should use two ways:

to cut off its unjustified consumption,
properly use the sources of its receipt.

The direct cause of most chronic diseases is a low level of energy. Moreover, modern methods of treatment: synthetic drugs, medical devices, etc. reduce this level even more.
Causes of uncontrolled energy expenditure

Excessive or perverted sexual activity (depletes the innate vital energy).
Improper nutrition, poor quality, unnatural food (fast food).
“Slagging” of the body, poor intestinal function.
Polluted air and improper breathing.
Mental overload, anxiety, idle chatter.
Uncontrolled emotions (anger, fear, longing, etc.).
Habitual negative states (habit of being always dissatisfied, bossy, “cool”, etc.).
Harmful habits.
Drug use (as well as sex, depletes, first of all, the innate vital energy).
Artificial stimulation of the senses (erotica/pornography, horror movies, gambling, etc.).
Excessive activity (fidgeting) dissipates energy and is itself a sign of low energy levels.
Detachment from nature and lack of connection with one’s soul (soullessness).
Insufficient physical activity.

Blockage of energy

Disturbance of energy movement gives the impression of a low energy level. Occurs in young people who have not yet had time to squander their innate energy.
There is a feeling of tension, tightness, and depression, with occasional uncontrollable emotional outbursts.
Prolonged blockage can cause a real drop in energy levels.

Consumption of large quantities of meat, alcohol, and spices leads to an excess of poor-quality energy. Infections and acute painful conditions are the consequence.
Replenishing energy

The first thing to do is to eliminate unwarranted energy expenditure. There is no point in pouring good wine into a leaky jug.
Get your life in order, fix your sleep, and use your sexual energy wisely.

In most cases, this will be enough to feel healthy and manage the affairs of your daily life with dignity.

Replenish energy:

A complete diet and proper drinking regimen.
Breathing exercises (pranayama).
Sufficient physical activity, various psycho-energetic exercises/techniques. For example, “Great Mental Breathing”
Moderately varied positive emotional experiences.
Meditative vacations alone with nature (not to be confused with picnics).
Daily meditations, periods of silence, rest of mind.
Full-fledged sleep.
Matching your activities to your inner spiritual aspirations (the way of the heart).
Natural remedies (tonic medicinal plants: ginseng, elecampane, golden root, etc.). Use no more than 1 month per season, except summer.
Wearing appropriate precious and semi-precious stones.

You can find out more precise recommendations by determining your individual constitution.

Physical exercise and creative mental activity, change of impressions, changes in life, and active types of recreation are useful for blocked energy.
For those who intend to follow the path of knowledge and reveal all their capabilities, it is necessary to have a sufficient amount of free energy and the ability to manage it.

You can free energy by eliminating useless and energy-consuming behavioral programs from your life.

An additional attraction of energy is the development of the ability to collect and take under control the previously scattered energy.

The fact is that in the process of life, energy is gradually dissipated, moving from the center of the energy body to the periphery. Control of “peripheral” energy is impossible for an ordinary person, which is tantamount to its loss.
Under the condition of purposeful training and impeccable lifestyle, it is possible to establish control over the dissipated energy, collect it, and use it for its intended purpose.

Two energy-saving techniques:

Lingual closure (nabhi mudra **). Ensures continuity of energy circulation in the small celestial circle circuit.
The habit of always keeping the abdomen taut.
Keep the abdomen from the pubic bone to the navel slightly tense, as if slightly pressing inside the abdominal organs. This “seals” the openness of the lower light field and “packs” the energy of the downward flow, impregnating the internal organs with it.
In addition, the correct posture is developed.

** Nabhi mudra – the symbol of the palate
Technique of performance.
Nabhi-mudra consists in touching the palate with the tip of the tongue. This technique is used to close certain contours of prana circulation in the system of channels of the subtle body and is performed constantly during the whole practice of all exercises.
There are three main variants of Nabhi-mudra: Vaiyu-nabhi-mudra, Agni-nabhi-mudra and Jala- or Soma-dhara-nabhi-mudra.

Vaiyu-nabhi-mudra is the touching of the tip of the tongue to the hard palate just above the upper gum.

It is Vaiyu-nabhi-mudra that is held at all times when practicing any exercise, except when a different tongue position is prescribed. It closes the circuit of circulation of Vaiyu-prana, the force of air, which is of key importance in the overall control of the processes occurring in the subtle body.

Agni-nabhi-mudra – touching the hard palate with the tip of the tongue in the place where it passes to the soft palate. It is used when practicing mudras and pranayamas when the impulse of the descending stream of fire is needed.

Jala- or Soma-dhara-nabhi-mudra – touching the soft palate as close to the pharynx as possible. It is used when practicing pranayamas and contemplative techniques when the impulse of downward flow of water power or Soma flow is needed.
